Indian team captain and star player Rohit Sharma has taken a newly-introduced bronco test. What will be the result of Rohit Sharma was the talk among the people. However, Rohit's performance shocked the people. He not only passed the test but also impressed everyone with his performance in the test. All the other players who participated also cleared the bronco test.
Rohit has already taken retirement from his T20s and Tests careers. After India's T20s World cup triumph, he quit the shortest format at the highest level. After a year later he quit the tests as well.
Rohit Sharma bid farewell to T20Is. on high note, but his exit from test cricket was far less memorable. After a disappointing run in his test series in Australia he chose to call time on his red ball career four months later after the series-right before India announced the squad for the five match test series against England.

Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) to increase the fitness level of players and to set new standards for players aiming to make a place for them in the men's national team introduced the bronco test. According to the reports 38 years old Rohit cleared both bronco test and yoyo test and impressed the selection committee with his stamina. Players like Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, Yashsavi Jaswal, Mohmad Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Washington Sundar also passed the newly-introduced bronco test
Today's Era's Cricket schedule keeps the players busy, for which players' fitness should be top notch. The Bronco test is introduced for this purpose. This test checks the limit of players' cardiovascular and mental strength which is required in modern cricket.
In this test 4 cons are placed at the distance of 0m, 20m 40m, 60m. In each set player has to sprint to the mark 20m and then back to starting point, then to 40m and back again, then to 60m and back. In each set player has to run total of 240m. players has to complete 5 set like this. In full they have to complete total of 1200m sprint as fast as possible. There is no resting time between the tests which puts mental pressure on the player. The Bronco test is not just a physical drill for the players, but it is also a measure of how long a player can withstand a sustained high-intensity effort, especially when it involves frequent change of direction and rapid sprints, which is very common in cricket.
